Sheepshead: A Single Player Trick-Taking Card Game

Play Sheepshead, a trick-taking card game, anytime on your iPhone. This single player version allows you to compete against computer-controlled opponents. Sheepshead is played with a standard deck of 32 cards, includingJ-Q-K-A in four suits.

The game features various play modes, including five-handed, four-handed, and three-handed modes. You can also participate in tournaments, where the player with the highest score after ten hands will be declared the winner.

Sheepshead offers partner variants, such as the Called Ace partner and Jack of Diamonds. In three-handed and four-handed play, the picker does not have a partner. Additionally, you can enable Leasters in the options menu, allowing the dealer to pick if picking is passed by all players.

You can choose between 'Double on the bump' or 'Single on the bump' scoring options. Knocking, also known as rapping or cracking, can be enabled in the options menu. The game also keeps track of your play statistics, including games won, tricks taken, and times picked.

With GameCenter integration, you can compete on leaderboards for 'High Score' and 'High Tournament Score' and earn achievements based on your game score and tricks taken. If you find the cards too small, you can enable Large Print Cards for better visibility.
